Frank Hubert Stevenson April 24, 1917 March 21, 1999 Frank Hubert Stevenson of Albany died Sunday at his home. He was 81.

tlr. Stevenson was born in Corvallis, the son of Frank H. and Ethel Watson Stevenson. He moved to Philomath in 1956. He lived in Albany for the past eight years.

He enjoyed fishing and living on a farm, especially taking care of Eva M. Keller July 2, 1902 March 19, 1999 Eva M. Keller of Corvallis died Friday at her home. She was 96. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Oscar and Else (Krath) Damschneider.

She immigrated to the United States in 1926, living in Wethersfield, Conn. She married George Keller, also a Danish immigrant, in 1928 and they lived in Wethersfield. She was a housekeeper at the historic Webb House in Wethersfield for 40 years before retiring at age 86. She was an active member of the Danish Sisterhood of America for more than 50 years until moving to Junction City. She moved to -Corvallis in 1992.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1976. Survivors include her son, George H. Keller of Corvallis; and two grandchildren. At her request, no services are scheduled. McHenry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was 70. She was born and raised in Wichita, the daughter of Silas and Elsie Beckner. She married Charles C. Adams on May 26, 1946, in Wichita. They moved from Kansas to Hillsboro in 1946, and to Corvallis from the Oregon coast in 1974.

She worked at the J.C. Penney department store in Corvallis in addition to being a homemaker. The couple moved to Albany in 1980. She belonged to the Lutheran Church and the Garibaldi Fire Velma E. Howton Aug.

2,8, 1911 March 20, 1999 Velma E. Howton of Albany died Saturday, March 20, at Tim-berview Care Center. She was 87. She was born on the family homestead at Cedar Glades, to Ernest and May (Hall) Ryan. She married James Kinsey in January 1929 in Alamo, Ark.

He died in 1956. She married Frank Howton on May 2, 1959, in Piney, Ark. He died Jan. 17, 1990. She lived in California during World War II, and in Arkansas and Kansas before moving to Oregon in 1950.

She and her husband owned Model Dry Cleaners from 1952 to 1968, and she then worked from her home for 10 years. She taught seamstress classes at Linn-Benton Community College. Judith A. "Judy" Yunker Palmer Aug. 6, 1947 March 20, 1999 Judith A.

"Judy" Yunker Palmer of Albany died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. She was 51. She was born in Albany to Alfred "Shorty" and Sophie Yunker. She grew up Scio and graduated from Scio High School in 1965. She took nurse's training in Portland, and then attended Western Oregon State College and, for three years, Oregon State University.

She married James "Jim" Palmer June 26, 1971, in Stayton. She enjoyed herb gardening and crafts, especially making potpourri. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Laura Bell Leabo Sept.

19, 1910 March 19, 1999 Laura Bell Leabo of Junction City died Friday at the Albany Mennonite Home. She was 88. She was born in Harrisburg to Horatio L. arid Ora Dell Warner. She married Edwin Leabo on Sept.

6, 1930, in Oregon City, and lived her entire life in the Harris-burg-Junction City area. He was 84.

He was born in Fall City to Robert and Frances (Harris) Bennett. He moved to Philomath with his parents in the early 1920s and attended Philomath High School, then worked in the logging and sawmill industry. He married Juanita Wyatt on April 11, 1936, in Philomath. She preceded him in death in November 1998. After retiring in the mid-1960s, he drilled water wells and entered the hardware business.

He and his wife owned and operated a myrtlewood hobby shop. In 1975, he began work at the Timber Supply Shop in Philomath. He was Oregon's "state" trap shooter for a couple of years in the. early 1960s. He enjoyed golf and all outdoor activities and was a fan of Philomath High School sports.

He was a life member of the Elks, Al Kader Shrine, Masons, Moose and the Odd Fellows. Survivors include sons Dennis Bennett of Philomath and Don Bennett of Albany; daughters Janice Bennett of Corvallis and Karen Berklund and Joanne Thomas, both of Philomath; brothers Marvin and Ron Bennett of Philomath and Raymond Bennett of Corvallis; sisters Marvelle Christenson of Philomath and Roberta Barnhouse of Corvallis; and nine grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, at McHenry Funeral Home. Private vault inurnment will follow at Mt.
